About Alpha State

Alpha State, the new collaboration between DJ Chima and Rothface. New York and Philly. With a style that is constantly evolving, but hovering somewhere between electronic world groove, hiphop, and R&B.

FROM THE ‘STATE: This site will document the process of recording the first Alpha State album. We are currently in the experimental phase, writing songs with the studio as our instrument. We’ve already got a bunch of rough draft tracks up so you can get a feel for what we’re doing. Next up we will be choosing our favorite tracks and polishing them into finished tracks. Keep in mind that this site will document all versions of tracks we are working on, some may make the final cut, some may not, so let us know what you think. Hope you enjoy.
